Instructions
The exam is timed for 75 minutes. It will cover chapters 18, 19 and 20 of the OpenStax Textbook. The exam has some multiple choice, true/false and some numerical calculation problems.
- Exam 1 is administered in a format similar to our homework. That is, it is a 2-part exam. For Part A you will enter numerical answers, multiple choice and True/False.
- Some problems require documenting your calculations. These calculations need to be uploaded to Exam 2 Part B to receive full or partial credit.
- You will have until 6:00 PM on 9/23/21 to upload your Part B "show work" documents to Canvas.
- All exam work shall be done without any collaboration with any other person or use of any textbooks, websites or notes.
- Students will be permitted to use one front/back 8.5 x 11-inch note summary. Students may not use their notebooks, textbooks, internet searches for the exam.
- Upload your note summary along with your Part B "Show Work" document for 1 point.
- Physical Constants are provided below.
- You may use a scientific calculator.
